The Ministry of Health confirmed 246 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 211 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 42,620.

This Tuesday, December 29, the health authority also reports 11,015 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 38,801 PCR tests and 30,870 antigens were processed. It is worth mentioning that, since the first case (confirmed on March 6), 7,982,544 samples have been processed in the country.

So things, the country reaches 1,614,822 confirmed coronavirus cases. To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 459,953 confirmed infections after 4,713 more were reported on Tuesday.

On the other hand, this report from the Ministry of Health indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 13,976 recovered patients were confirmed. Thus, there are already 1,483,017 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.
