Coronavirus: deaths and infections today December 19 in Colombia – Health

This Saturday, December 19, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours they were confirmed 13,990 new infections after processing 62,854 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,496,062.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 249 more deaths and 8,522 recovered. The total number of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 40,268.

As for the recovered patients, 1,362,543 Colombians in total have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Saturday, December 19, are 89,176.

Worldwide, 76,065,255 people have been infected with coronavirus; 1,681,666 have died from covid-19 and 42,889,165 patients have recovered.
