Coronavirus contagions recovered and deaths on January 31, 2021 in Colombia – Health

This Sunday, January 31, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours 8,078 new infections were confirmed after processing 43,488 PCR tests and 9,821 antigens for a total of 53,309 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 2,094,884 cases.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 333 more deaths and 13,921 recovered. The total number of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 53,983.

Regarding the recovered patients, 1,938,322 Colombians in total have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Sunday are 96,643.

To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 614,475 confirmed infections.

Worldwide, 102,840,181 people have been infected with coronavirus; 2,225,302 have died from covid-19 and 56,974,909 patients have recovered.
