Coronavirus | Colombia reaches 998,942 infected and 29,802 dead today – Health

The Ministry of Health confirmed this Friday that the number of infections by covid-19 rose to 998,942, of which 65,195 are active. In the last 24 hours alone, 8,672 new patients were diagnosed with the virus, after 52,727 tests were performed.

In addition, the most recent report from the health authority shows 166 deaths, which were registered on the last day, bringing the total number of deaths due to the pandemic to 29,802.

As for the number of recovered in the country, it amounted to 901,652, of which 7,940 appear as new in the last report.

So far, the city with the most cases in Bogotá, where more than 306,000 positive cases have been reported.
