The Ministry of Health confirmed this Friday 299 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia. With this update, the death toll in the country is 18,767.

The health authority also reported 8,498 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 28,349 PCR tests and 6,922 antigens were processed
throughout the territory. Thus, the country reaches 590,520. confirmed coronavirus cases.

Regarding patients recovered, Colombia reached 429,620, bringing the number of active cases to date to 140,926.
Of the more than 8,000 thousand new infections, 2,182 were diagnosed in Bogotá; 1,416 in Antioquia; 625, in Santander; 487, in Valle; 419 in Norte de Santander, the territories most affected in the last hours.

Bogotá, with 204,065 positive cases since March 6, heads the general list of cities with the most infections.
Worldwide, 24,473,843 people have been infected with covid-19, of which 16,052,099 have recovered and another 832,002 have died from this coronavirus.
