Coronavirus Colombia: infections and deaths today October 29 – Health

This Monday, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia. According to the report, in the last 24 hours they were confirmed 11,187 new infections after processing 53,420 tests. With this figure, the country reaches a total of 1,053,122 cases.

According to data from the EL TIEMPO Health Unit, since last August 26 the country had not registered more than 10,000 cases in one day. On that occasion, the health authority reported 10,142.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 173 deaths, more of which 145 belong to previous days. The total number of deaths from covid-19 rises, then, to 30,926.

As for the recovered patients, 950,348 Colombians have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the health authority also reported that the active cases confirmed this October 29 are 69,423.

Bogotá is the city that registered the most cases in the last hours with 2,954; the department of Antioquia had 2,663; Valle 693 cases; Boyacá 483 and Santander 480.

Worldwide, 44,574,981 people have been infected with coronavirus and 1,175,279 have lost their lives due to covid-19. On the other hand, the number of recovered in the world amounts to 30’141.299.
