Coronavirus Colombia: deaths and infections by covid-19 today – Health

The Ministry of Health delivered this Wednesday a new report on the situation of the coronavirus in Colombia in which it warns that, in the last 24 hours, they were confirmed 11,953 new infections after processing 60,638 tests.

In the country, no more than 11,000 cases were reported since October 31. With this figure, Colombia reaches a total of 1,456,599 cases.

Likewise, the health authority confirmed 204 more deaths and 7,736 recovered. The total of deaths from covid-19 increases, then, to 39,560.

As for the recovered patients, 1,336,166 Colombians in total have managed to overcome the coronavirus. On the other hand, the active cases confirmed this Wednesday, December 16, are 76,833.

Worldwide, 73,953,702 people have been infected with coronavirus; 1,644,416 have died from covid-19 and 41,846,003 patients have recovered.
