The Ministry of Health confirmed 300 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 280 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 19,364.

This Sunday, August 30, the health authority also reports on 8,024 new infections in the last 24 hours, after they were processed 26,879 PCR tests and 3,357 antigen tests. It is worth mentioning that, since the first case (confirmed on March 6), in the country they have been processed 2,715,591 samples.
Thus the things, the country reaches 607,938 cases of coronavirus confirmed.
To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 209,250 confirmed infections after this Sunday’s report confirmed 1,846 more cases.
The other territorial entities that confirmed the most infections in the last 24 hours were Antioquia (845 cases), Cundinamarca (597), cease (501), Santander (463) and Cauca’s Valley (463).

This report from the Ministry of Health also indicates that, in the last 24 hours, 10,047 recovered patients were confirmed. So, there are already 450,621 patients who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in Colombia.
With this update, in total 136,702 cases remain active in the country.
