The Ministry of Health confirmed 297 more deaths from covid-19 in Colombia, of which 278 correspond to previous days. With this update, the total number of deaths in the country rises to 19,064.
This Saturday, August 29, the health authority also reports on 9,394 new infections in the last 24 hours, after 24,966 PCR tests and 5,386 antigen tests were processed.

So things, the country reaches 599,914 confirmed coronavirus cases.
To date, Bogotá is the city with the most cases. The capital reached the figure of 207,403 confirmed infections after 3,338 more cases were confirmed in this Saturday’s report.

The report also indicates that, to date, 440,574 patients have been surpassed in Colombia and that, in total, 139,041 cases remain active in the country.
