This Wednesday, President Iván Duque made announcements about the support programs that are benefiting at least five million Colombians during the covid-19 pandemic.

The head of state reiterated that strategies such as Families in Action or Youth in Action They were being paid every two months, but in the midst of the coronavirus emergency an extraordinary turn was established that will continue until the end of the year.

“Let’s keep doing those monthly payments between now and December, and we will do the same with the extraordinary transfer for the elderly“Duque said.
Regarding the VAT refund, the director of the DNP, Luis Alberto Rodríguez, said that one million households have received about three transfers for this benefit, and next year it is expected to reach two million.

To this is added that, by 2021, the Formal Employment Support Program (Paef) will be extended until March, the Solidarity Income until June, month until which will also the validity of the guarantee lines of 80 and 90 percent that have been applied for micro, small, medium and large companies.
