Coronavirus and quarantine in Colombia: death toll and infected today September 22 – Health

The Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday that, after practicing 36,177 tests in the last hours, 7,102 new cases were identified of coronavirus in Colombia, bringing the country to a total of 777,537.

The health authority also reported that there are 173 more deaths due to covid-19. Thus, the death toll rose to 24,570.

As for recovered patients, there are already 650,801, with which the number of active cases throughout the national territory dropped to 100,541.

Since March 6, when the first case arrived in Colombia, the city most affected by the pandemic has been Bogotá, where 256,116 infections were registered in total until Tuesday.

Worldwide, there are already more than 31 million confirmed cases, 965 thousand deaths and 21 million recovered.
