Companies in the industrial and manufacturing sector concluded that, due to the onslaught of the pandemic, the salary of its operators and collaborators could be reduced by up to 4%.

A study of the Mercer Consulting Firm, quoted by Portafolio, points out that, Although only 22% of the companies surveyed contemplate a reduction in staff, it is highly unlikely to show significant salary increases during 2021 (even in managerial positions).

This is due to the fact that not a few companies had to resort to financial aid in order not to stop operating, which represents the need for a period of time to recover.
