Come back and play: A young woman is killed by a Transmilenio article

A traffic accident was registered, this Monday, on Calle 13 with Carrera 16, above the La Sabana station, in the center of Bogotá.

A bus of Transmilenio that was heading towards the Americas Portal ran over a minor, taking her life.

The first versions indicate that the minor She was riding a bicycle and was trying to cross Calle 13 with Carrera 17 when she was run over by the articulated vehicle.

Upon realizing what happened, the relatives, who apparently own a place in that sector of the city, have tried to attack the driver of the Transmilenio bus.

According to Emel Rojas, Bogota Councilor, in the last five days, three cyclists have been run over by the articles of the Bogota Mass Transport.

According to the System, the buses are in counter flow, so there may be traffic congestion in this sector.

Likewise, criminalistics units are already in the sector carrying out the respective survey.

To avoid congestion, which also affects private vehicles, the Ministry of Mobility recommends taking alternate roads such as Caracas Avenue to the south, 6th Street to the west, Carrera 47 to the north and 13th Street to the west.
