A serious complaint was made in the last hours, after in the match between Colombia and Venezuela for the first date of the Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022, the presence of unauthorized personnel was recorded in the boxes of the Metropolitan Stadium of Barranquilla.
According to the newspaper El Tiempo, the individuals who were in the boxes of the ‘Metro’ are people outside the authorized logistics personnel, accredited media, police, health personnel, maintenance personnel and sports groups, thus being a real risk for the members of the delegations and other authorized entities, who are doing their job.
As explained, apparently, the people who were in this place, as spectators, are influencers invited by the same sponsors, which suggests that the Colombian Soccer Federation is not complying with the protocols established by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of sport.
It must be remembered that by order of the Government, the public is not allowed to enter any sporting event, since this represents a risk to the health of the members and the attending fans, in the midst of the pandemic generated by the covid- 19.
For now, there is no pronouncement by the Federation.
Yes there are fans in the boxes of the Metro. This photo, by reporter Hansel Vásquez, proves it. In addition, photos of these fans circulate on social networks that show actions of the match. Federation passed through the girdles the norms. What do they say @MinSaludCol, @MinDeporteCol? pic.twitter.com/hzAMSvbTY2
