Colombia vs. Uruguay: possible formation of Colombia

[ad_1]

The Colombian National Team will face Uruguay this Friday, for the third date of the South American Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The match between the ‘tricolor’ and the celestial will begin at 3:30 pm

The national team would present a couple of new features in its starting lineup compared to the match against Chile a month ago. The first of them is the return of David Ospina to the arch, since the Napoli goalkeeper could not be with the National Team in the last Fifa date. The second is the possible appearance of Luis Orejuela as a right back, who would officially debut with the team.

Carlos Queiroz does not have any of the usual right backs (Santiago Arias and Stefan Medina) this time, so his choice between Orejuela and Daniel Muñoz would end up being one of the changes in the usual starting eleven that the Portuguese coach had been managing.

Jeison Murillo would repeat ownership because Dávinson Sánchez barely arrived in Barranquilla until Thursday. The Tottenham central defender traveled from England until recently because he stayed in London to witness the birth of his son.

From the middle of the court forward Queiroz would keep intact the base with which he got four points in the last two games, which have Colombia in third place in the standings.

Possible formation of Colombia vs. Uruguay

David Ospina; Luis Orejuela, Yerry Mina, Jeison Murillo, Johan Mojica; Wilmar Barrios, Jefferson Lerma, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado; James Rodríguez, Luis Fernando Muriel and Duván Zapata.
