Colombia reports 11,528 new cases of covid-19, this January 2: Antioquia surpasses Bogotá

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported, this Tuesday, January 2, 11,528 new cases of coronavirus in Colombia. In In the last 24 hours, 30,897 tests were processed, of which 20,419 are PCR and 10,478 are antigens.

The report also indicates that in the last 24 hours there were 270 deaths due to the disease. In this way, the country reaches a total of 43,765 deaths since the virus reached the national territory.

By conglomerating all the figures, Colombia reached 1,666,408 infected, of which 87,239 are active cases and 1,530,4973 correspond to positive cases that have already managed to overcome the coronavirus.

Regarding the regions with the most cases reported today, Bogota leads the list with 1,950 infections, it follows Cauca’s Valley with 746 and Antioquia with 2,156 positive cases.

There are 2,096 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia (Ituango), Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Buenaventura, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
