The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported, this Saturday, December 19, 13,990 new cases of coronavirus in Colombia. In In the last 24 hours, 62,854 tests were processed, of which they are: PCR: 38,655 and antigens: 24,199.
The report also indicates that, in the last 24 hours, there were 249 deaths due to the disease. In this way, the country reaches a total of 40,268 deaths since the virus reached the national territory.
By conglomerating all the figures, Colombia reached 1,496,062 infected, of which 89,176 are active cases and 1,362,543 correspond to positive cases that have already managed to overcome the coronavirus.
Regarding the regions with the most cases reported today, Bogota leads the list with 4,155 new infections, followed by Antioquia with 2,030 and Cauca’s Valley with 907 positive cases.
There are 2,200 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia, Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, North from Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
