The European country also sent a team of professionals from the Epidemic Preparedness Team (SEEG) of the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ) which will train laboratory personnel of the Departmental Institute of Health of Norte de Santander, border with Venezuela, in taking samples COVID-19.
These experts will also make a exchange of experiences with the National Institute of Health (INS) in Bogotá on the country’s strategy in the face of the pandemic.

According to the ambassador, Germany and Colombia are betting on a good management of the crisis, away from populist temptation, and with a focus on building knowledge that will allow them to better share their experiences.
