With the arrival of Víctor Cantillo to the national territory, finally, Carlos Queiroz has his complete team in Barranquilla, and is ready to direct the first elimination match with the Colombian National Team.
This Friday, the national team will face Venezuela at the Metropolitan Stadium of Barranquilla, a tough rival, which, with the passing of the years and the matches, has become a true classic. Then, the second day will be against Chile, in a match that will be played next Tuesday in Santiago.
For this double date, and after several days with news and casualties, Queiroz already has at his disposal the 25 players with whom he will begin the road to the Qatar World Cup 2022.
David Ospina, Yairo Moreno, Luis Díaz and Matheus Uribe are the casualties that the Colombia National Team has, after the original list of summoned was released, and that is why the Portuguese strategist called five new players as replacement for those mentioned above, prior to the start of the qualifying games.
