The Ministry of Health confirmed this Tuesday 389 more deaths from covid-19 and raised the number of associated deaths to 20,052 since the health emergency due to the coronavirus began in Colombia. They clarify that of that number, only 15 were reported in the last day.
In the bulletin of September 1, when the selective isolation phase began, 8,901 more infections are reported and account for 624,068 in total, of which 133,155 are active. Regarding recovered patients, the health portfolio indicates that there are now 469,557 people who have overcome the disease.
In the Valley 714 new positives were located and the balance increased to 47,658 in the last 24 hours. They detail that 25 infected people died in the region, 20 of them in Cali. The other deaths were registered in Palmira (2), Dagua, La Unión and Buga.

Most of the new positives are located in Bogotá (2,331), Antioquia (913), Santander (877), Valle (714), Cundinamarca (684), Cesar (396), Meta (364), Risaralda (275), Nariño (251), Tolima (229), Córdoba (215), Norte de Santander (197), Huila (193), Cartagena (140), Guajira (127), Cauca (121) and Putumayo (110).
In addition, less than a hundred cases reported, Caquetá (98), Boyacá (89), Barranquilla (88), Sucre (69), Caldas (58), Santa Marta (49), Bolívar (47), Arauca (45) , San Andrés (43), Atlántico (40), Quindío (28), Casanare (26), Chocó (20), Vichada (19), Magdalena (19), Guainía (16), Guaviare (7) and Amazonas (3 ).
