When the drug was removed from the heavy truck, she underwent the chemical test and later the police passed her through the scale, finding that 108.5 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride wrapped in 100 pressed packages were being transported.
The dump truck driver is a 36-year-old citizen, of whom the Police did not reveal the identity, but they indicated that he was at the disposal of a specialized prosecutor to follow the process before a guarantee control judge and determine the degree of responsibility he has in this crime of drug trafficking and manufacture.
The La Guajira Police said through a statement that: “This substance would apparently be transported to a point in the Alta Guajira, where it is stored by groups outside the law, to later send them in large quantities by speedboats to the Caribbean Islands or Central America, where it has an approximate value of $ 100 million pesos per kilo ”.
