Claudia López requested an urgent appointment with President Iván Duque – Bogotá

The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, wrote on her Twitter account that she hopes to meet this Friday with the President of the Republic, Iván Duue, and with the Attorney General of the Nation, Fernando Carrillo.

“I requested an urgent appointment with the President and the Attorney General of the Nation to personally and directly deliver our information and proposals. I thank you both for your positive response. At 3 pm I will meet with the President and at 5 pm with the Attorney, “said López.

The president stated in recent statements that the Bogotá Mayor’s Office has sufficient evidence to determine that during the day of September 9, the Police used firearms indiscriminately.

The judicial authorities will determine responsibilities based on this information that the District will deliver.
