The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, assured that this Thursday there will be no curfew in the city after protests over the death of lawyer Javier Ordóñez.
Peso did call for citizens to come home before 7:00 pm in order to minimize the risks in the street in the face of new sit-ins.
“Although there is no curfew in Bogotá, we do ask citizens that no later than 7:00 at night, everyone who can be at home”Lopez said.
