The act of reconciliation this Sunday, September 13, will include a youth concert, a candlelight and a cacerolazo from home.
This was confirmed this Saturday by the mayor of Bogotá Claudia López in a peace forum of the Bogotá Council.
The first item on the agenda will be a demonstration of forgiveness to the families of the people murdered in the last three days in Bogotá.

At 3:00 pm a youth concert will begin that will include the participation of the Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Police Orchestra and other youth artistic groups.
And at 6:00 pm there will be an act of peaceful social protest from the windows of the inhabitants of Bogotá.

“At 6 pm I invite all Bogota families to use the two symbols. This is not the time to be silent, how can we remain silent in the face of injustice? (We will be) with the symbol of meditation and hope: the candle and the saucepan. They are not institutional symbols, they are symbols of the citizens, “said the Mayor.
The district president placed special emphasis on the protection and construction of youth of peace. “As a purpose that this generation, wherever they are, will not leave unnecessary pain among their generation. They will not lose their temper or hope that as a generation they have the right to a country at peace,” said López.
