Clandestine parties in Bogotá: event organizer left guests locked up. – Bogota

An illegal party in the Las Ferias neighborhood of the town of Engativá was suspended when The Police realized that 19 men and 8 women had coordinated the celebration of a birthday through social networks this Sunday, December 6.

The serious thing is that when the organizer of the party realized that the police were going to the establishment, he preferred to leave the guests locked up. “He said he was coming and ran away, he didn’t even let the cake we ordered in,” said one of the guests.

During the operation carried out by the Police and the Local Mayor’s Office, the intervention of the Bogotá Firefighters was necessary to forcibly enter the establishment and facilitate the departure of offenders.

In the place of the party the authorities did not find anyone who was responsible for the event or for the rental of these facilities. “We could not open a store that was not ours”, said another of the attendees.

The Engativá mayor’s office will advance the respective administrative sanctions to the owners of the premises and the organizers of the event.
