The total number of coronavirus cases in Colombia rose to 686,851 this Wednesday, after health authorities confirmed 7,813 new infections, after processing 24,030 PCR tests and 7,813 antigens in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, 225 more deaths from covid-19 were reported, bringing the number of deaths to 22,053 while the number of recovered rose to 552,885.

The new cases were registered in Bogotá 2,278, Antioquia 1,178, Santander 516, Valle 428, Cundinamarca 317, Cesar 290, Huila 221, Guajira 185, Cauca 178, Risaralda 164, Tolima 146, Córdoba 144, Sucre 142, Meta 130, Cartagena 105 , Boyacá 104, Nariño 100, Norte de Santander 88, Caquetá 79, Barranquilla 76, Caldas 76, Quindío 61, Atlántico 58, Chocó 43, Casanare 36, Bolívar 31, San Andrés 31, Santa Marta 28, Arauca 25, Guaviare 24, Magdalena 23, Putumayo 15, Vichada 10, Vaupés 6 Guainía 5, Amazonas 2.
