The total number of coronavirus cases in Colombia rose to 952,371 this Saturday, October 16, after health authorities confirmed 7,017 new infections, after processing 28,856 PCR tests and 15,035 antigens on the last day.
On the other hand, 187 more deaths from covid-19 were reported, bringing the number of deaths to 28,803 while the number of recovered rose to 847,467.
The new cases were registered in Antioquia 1,593, Bogotá 1,562, Valle 699, Huila 253, Santander 288, Risaralda 264, Caldas 235, Tolima 232, Meta 214, Cundinamarca 201, Quindío 160, Boyacá 154, Caquetá 111, Nariño 106, Cesar 98 , Cauca 90, Barranquilla 85, Norte de Santander 83, Cartagena 69, Arauca 65, Casanare 60, Sucre 50, Putumayo 37, Guajira 35, Atlántico 30, Guainía 29, Santa Marta 25, Bolívar 19, Córdoba 19, Guaviare 14, Amazonas 13, Magdalena 12, San Andrés 10, Vichada 2.
