After processing 25,323 PCR tests and 24,458 antigen tests in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health confirmed 8,256 new coronavirus infections in Colombia on Tuesday. Thus, the total number of infected patients in the country rose to 974,139.
For its part, 170 more deaths from covid-19 were reported, bringing the death toll to 29,272. Meanwhile, the number of recovered increased to 876,731.
According to health authorities, there are currently 65,928 active cases and there are 1,411 conglomerates in the country in the following territories: Amazonas, Antioquia, Arauca, Atlantic, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo , Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
