After the report issued this Monday by the National Government, among the almost 920,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 there are 27,985 victims and 798,396 recovered. The above means that there are currently 90,621 active cases, about 1,000 fewer than there were the previous day.

In the last hours, 28,318 tests were processed. Of these, 22,162 were for PCR and the remaining 6,156 for antigen.

New cases of coronavirus in Colombia today, October 12

The areas of the country that presented the highest increase in coronavirus cases in the last day were: Antioquia (2,624), Bogotá (1,025), Valle (516), Huila (397), Santander (282), Boyacá (273), Risaralda (251), Cesar (243), Caquetá (221) and Meta (221).

In recent days, the department of Antioquia has had the first place in the list of daily cases increase and on some occasions it has duplicated Bogotá in its records.

In the last hours, 151 people who died from this disease were identified, of which 130 are from days before this. The total number of deaths in Colombia from COVID-19 went from 27,834 to 27,985.

In the last day, 8,609 people won the battle against the coronavirus. In such a way that the number of recovered in the country is already 798,396. The above means that there are currently 90,621 active cases, about 1,000 fewer than there were yesterday
