Case of Sofía Cadavid: with white balloons was the funeral in Rionegro – Medellín – Colombia

At 2:00 pm the funeral of the little girl was held at the Cathedral of San Nicolás el Magno. His family and the mayor of Rionegro, Rodrigo Hernández, were there.

At the end of the mass, a funeral tour was made through the municipality, in which the community participated with white balloons and prayers.

Faced with the judicial process of Diego Armando Cadavid, Sofía’s father and identified as responsible for the murder, Mayor Hernández asked for justice.

Due to this murder, for which mourning was decreed in the municipality, the mayor announced that with the Mobile Hugging Families Unit, each of the cases that are registered and reported will be followed up to make an immediate reaction with the social workers and psychologists.
