“First of all, he wanted to find a club where he could play frequently. Compared to Real Madrid, where he didn’t play much and he wanted a new challenge, he was desperate to play and found a great place, ”said Ancelotti.
Ancelotti reiterated that the relationship with the player, whom he knows very well, was key.
“He knows me, I know him. The club has a great project and wants to demonstrate, and I think it has found a good place to demonstrate its qualities, “he said.
Finally, he spoke of James’ abilities and the benefits he is getting from him at Everton.
“He is a very talented player. He does not lose a pass, nor a control, he does not fail in the shots. He does not play to complicate himself, he plays football simply,” he said.
