Capture of police accused of death Javier Ordóñez – Investigation – Justice

Juan Camilo Lloreda Cubillos, one of the two agents a judge ordered to be captured on Thursday for the murder of Javier Ordóñez in a case of police brutality, has not been located. Harby Damián Rodríguez Díaz, for his part, was captured after an operation by the Prosecutor’s Office.

Official sources indicated that around noon they went to the place where the uniformed men established as their place of residence and did not find them. They had contact with relatives of the uniformed men to report on the arrest warrants against them.

The order was delivered to the CTI of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and to the Sijín of the Police to enforce it, but initially none of those involved were arrested.

The same sources told EL TIEMPO at the time that they were making contact with the lawyers of the uniformed men. to officially notify them and facilitate their delivery to the authorities.

Close people initially indicated that the uniformed men would be resolving some personal matters before proceeding to deliver them to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Despite these versions of those close to him, the authorities do not rule out a possible escape.

A few hours later, sources from the National Police confirmed that around 2 in the afternoon this Thursday the arrest warrant against patrolman Harby Ramírez Díaz was enforced, one of those involved in the death of the law student and taxi driver Javier Ordóñez, in events recorded in Bogotá on September 9.
