There are many doubts that have arisen in Colombia as a result of the recent government announcements on the end of quarantines and mandatory isolation, especially in what has to do with free mobilization, travel within the national territory and the reopening of recreation centers, tourist and aquatic, especially in what has to do with the use of swimming pools.
On this subject, from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism It was confirmed that these sites also fall within which they have the endorsement to operate, that is to say, from September 1, people will be able to travel by road and make use of the pools and resorts recreation that comply with the biosecurity measures that the Government has arranged for such spaces.

Through the ‘Prevention and Action’ program of President Iván Duque, the Minister, José Manuel Restrepo, clarified that the Colombians will be able to travel and enjoy 100% of the tourist activities, as long as both citizens and places comply with the prevention rules, considering that the coronavirus is still active in the country and that there is a risk of contagion.
Among the measures to take into account is the control in the capacity, since tourist centers must take care of avoid crowds and ensure social distancing. In these places the restriction on the consumption of liquor in public places, bars and discos.
However, taking into account that there are sectors where contagion figures still represent a risk for tourism, the minister announced that it was determined that Each Mayor of each municipality will have the power to decide whether or not to request authorization from the Ministry of the Interior for the reopening of these spaces.

Finally, José Manuel Restrepo invited Colombians to abide by all measures and enjoy the tourist centers and pools meeting the established parameters, so that this reopening is positive and can be maintained.
