CEmprende’s regional headquarters in Cali will open its doors in December 2020, the Municipal Mayor’s Office announced this Saturday. It will have two spaces, one in the facilities of the Universidad del Valle and the second, focused on high-impact enterprises, will work in the Chamber of Commerce.
The initiative of the National Government seeks to facilitate care and support actions for entrepreneurs in Valle del Cauca, facilitating the connection between academia, private companies and the State, in the midst of the economic reactivation that is taking place in the country to mitigate the effects of the pandemic.
This center will be a reality thanks to an alliance between the Cali Chamber of Commerce, the Governor of the Valley, the Mayor’s Office of Cali, the Sena and the University of the Valley. There, entrepreneurs will be able to book virtual appointments and receive information to be directed to the different support alternatives available in the region’s ecosystem.
They will also be able to participate in virtual and face-to-face activities, within the framework of the initiative at the national level and particularly for the region.

Ignacio Gaitán, president of iNNpulsa Colombia, stressed that “Cali has been making great efforts to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem and has made important contributions to the construction of Colombia as an Entrepreneurial Nation.”
He added that “the upcoming opening of the Regional CEmprende in the city is great news for entrepreneurs who will be able to access, among other benefits, training tools, business dialogue, intellectual property and commercial connections.”
In October this program will start operating in Barranquilla where a center is also inaugurated.
