Cali registered 2 more deaths from Covid-19 this Friday and Colombia approached 5,000 infections

In Cali, there were 2 more deaths from the coronavirus this Friday, and 320 more cases of the disease were confirmed nationwide, reaching 4,881 patients, according to the Ministry of Health.

Thus, following the figures of the Departmental Health Secretariat, in Cali there are already 38 deaths from Covid-19 and 52 in the entire Valle del Cauca.

The entity reported that the patients killed in the capital of Valle were a 95-year-old woman who suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, hypothyroidism, and dementia; and a 49-year-old man with obesity.

In the Valley, the second department with the highest case rate in the country, 23 more people tested positive for coronavirus, so there are already 797 patients with this disease in the department.

Nationally, the number of deaths increased to 225 and that of recovered citizens reached 1,003.
