There is commotion in Cali over the new murder of a woman. This case occurred when the victim, identified as Daniela Zuluaga, who was four months pregnant, was at a gas station in the San Fernando neighborhood.
There came a man who struck up a conversation with the woman, who was pregnant.

Minutes later, the stranger drew a gun and shot him in the head.
The victim was 24 years old and worked in a fast food shop in this southern sector of the capital of Valle del Cauca.
The incident occurred on the night of last Thursday.

The commander of the Cali Metropolitan Police, General Manuel Vásquez, said that the hypothesis of an attempted robbery was distorted, because the belongings of the young woman in pregnancy were left on the site.
“” Preliminarily, we can disprove that it is a robbery, since no items were taken. The investigative work will allow us to reach the causes or motives for this unfortunate event, “said the officer.

The authorities are seeking to determine if the aggressor had any sentimental relationship with the victim.
In the middle of this year, leaders, activists and members of collectives called on the Mayor’s Office for actions against violence against women in Cali, due to the increase in crimes by 400 percent.
According to the National Institute of Legal Medicine, between January and August of this year, 47 homicides of women were reported, of which one of the victims was a minor.
Throughout Valle del Cauca, 94 homicides of women were registered in the same period.
