Cali exceeded 1,500 deaths from covid-19 this Friday

The Ministry of Health reported 17 new deaths from covid-19 in the Valley, of these, 11 are in Cali, which already registers 1,508 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The other fatalities are in Yumbo (2) and one by one in Palmira, Candelaria, Guacarí and Florida.

Regarding infections, Minsalud confirmed that this Friday there are 478 new cases of covid-19 in Valle del Cauca, a department that completed 56,175 people with coronavirus.

At the national level, the National Institute of Health confirmed 6526 new infections, which make the country reach 750,471 positive cases of covid-19.

In the report they detail that of the total of registered cases, 103,525 are active.

With regard to deaths, the highest health authority reports in today’s epidemiological bulletin, 188 new deaths were recorded in Colombia, of which 173 belong to previous days.

Thus, the country remains this Friday with a general balance of 23,850 deaths from diseases related to this virus.

It should be mentioned that today 21,673 PCR tests and 12.06 antigens were processed. In addition, the number of people recovered reached 621,521.

The world reached 30,214,496 positive cases of covid-19 this Friday, according to the WHO.
