Noticias Caracol learned of a new complaint of abuse of authority against police officers from the CAI of Villa Luz, the same one to whom Javier Ordóñez was taken and where, according to evidence, they allegedly gave him a fatal beating.
Marco Valencia says that, on February 2, he was in the Villa Luz park with his girlfriend when the agents approached him.
“We met in the park, we had just arrived, we were talking when we were approached by two policemen. One of them is Lloreda, who carried out the attacks with the electric gun on Mr. Javier. I want to clarify that I do not know Mr. Javier, the first time I saw him was in the videos we know, ”says Valencia.
He adds that the two policemen became aggressive and, given the reaction of the young man, who would have asked them to calm down, they threw themselves on him.
“The moment I give the document to one of the policemen, he attacks me, throws me to the ground, handcuffs my arm, begins to beat me,” he says.
Marco’s brother came to the park to find out what was going on and when he saw the attack he wanted to intervene.
“One of them suffocates me until I lose consciousness, I cannot breathe at all and when I manage to recover it, I continue to be hit.I see how my brother is being beaten, being handcuffed on the ground, ”he recalls.
Marco clarifies that in his case the police beat him, but did not use the taser gun. Something that, he says, was “the difference between life and death.”
The young man also points out that the agents tried to take the cell phone from whoever was recording.
After seven months of having denounced this abuse of authority and before the death of Javier Ordóñez, Marco expanded his statement before the authorities.
