Bus traffic accident on the road between Bucaramanga and Santa Marta – Santander – Colombia

A serious accident occurred on the morning of this Saturday, November 21, on the road that leads from Bucaramanga to Santa Marta.

According to the first versions of the traffic authorities, a bus from the Berlinas del Fonce company left the road at kilometer 80 + 550, in San Alberto, Cesar.

The vehicle, in which 22 passengers and two drivers were transported, lost control and ended up falling down a chasm of approximately 100 meters.

The authorities reported that so far four people have lost their lives. It involves two women, a man and a 2-year-old baby.

In addition, 17 injured people have been evacuated, of which five wounded were sent to the La Esperanza hospital, in Norte de Santander.

Only one person was unharmed from the accident. It was known that he would be one of the drivers.
