According to Administrative Department of Risk Management (Dagran) of Antioquia, the 3 brothers were trapped on a river bank after they saw their parents washed away.
That institution ensured that the body of the father of the family, identified as Ariel Julio Tordesilla and 42 years old, was found dead, while the 41-year-old mother is still looking for her.
“A minor under 14 years old, a minor under 15 years old and a young woman of 18 years old are left on the other side of the river in a kind of island that is generated, they are trapped, so this morning a Dagrd team with the support of the helicopter enters the site and they do the rescue ”, explained Jaime Enrique Gómez Zapata, director of Dagran, quoted by Noticias Caracol.
Gómez Zapata added that the 3 brothers, after receiving medical attention, were delivered to the mayor of Mutatá, in Antioquia Urabá, and to the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).
The couple dragged down the Sucio river in Mutatá are the parents of the three minors rescued by the Dagran. The minors of 18, 15 and 14 years old were left in the hands of the competent authorities.
