The Brazilian media G1 reported last Friday about the search in a security camera of the moment when the owner of a clothing and accessories store shot and killed three men in reaction to an assault.
The incident occurred the previous Wednesday in Jardim São Guilherme, north of Sorocaba, in Brazil.

“According to the Military Police, the three men entered the shop, around 11 in the morning, and spent a few minutes talking with the merchant (…) One of the suspects even spoke with the merchant, who was wearing a cap and He was behind the counter in a slipper, another tried on hats, and the third, bracelets. At one point, the man by the store counter pulled out a gun and pointed it at the owner“wrote the outlet.
According to what was narrated, the merchant, who was at the counter, went to the armed man, took out a pistol and there was an exchange of shots. Furthermore, when the merchant counterattacked, the suspect pulled a glass from a cabinet.
After the three of them were on the ground, the merchant shot a few more times
“After all three were on the ground, the merchant fired a few more shots, kicked, and picked up the gun that the suspect used,” the outlet added.

In the security video it is observed how the three men, before the shooting, arrive at the store and have the behaviors of a usual buyer.
What consequences will the merchant have?
The Brazilian media explained that the store owner left the scene after the incident, but that, according to the Civil Police, he contacted the investigation saying that he planned to give statements.
Acácio Leite, the delegate responsible for the case, said that there was a fight between the bandits and the merchant as soon as they announced the assault and after they were fired at the suspects. He also claimed that he was approached by the store owner’s attorney, who he was called to report to the police station the following days.
