The TransMilenio company reported an act of violence that, this time, cost the life of a bus operator of the zonal component of the system.
Although there are still no details of the events, TransMilenio reported that the “incident” involves a driver of a bus that would be a pirate transport. Mobility, a few minutes ago, reported the incident as the product of a fight.

Everything happened at 6:55 pm on Monday and, at the moment, the authorities are present in the place.
“The facts that are the subject of investigation were related to an alleged case of intolerance and occurred on Avenida Gaitán Cortes with Carrera 49, unfortunately in the incident the operator of the bus of the zonal component of the System died,” was the TransMilenio report.
There is already a person captured by the facts. Preliminary versions indicate that the victim was run over.
“TRANSMILENIO SA regrets what happened and is in solidarity with the family of the operator who died in these events. In coordination with the concessionaire to which the operator belonged, it will begin accompanying his family,” the company indicated.

In turn, the manager of TransMilenio, Felipe Ramírez, spoke about the events: “I deeply regret the death of a driver of the system in events that are yet to be clarified in an episode of apparent intolerance. I thank the authorities for the quick capture that took place. gave the alleged aggressor and I ask for speed in the case. All my solidarity with his family. ”
