The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, announced that the sale and consumption of alcohol in establishments and public spaces will be restricted from 12:00 am on December 23 until the next 27 of the same month at 11:59 pm., given the increase in numbers of infections by covid-19 recently in the city.

“If people do not take care of themselves in their right mind, imagine drinking alcohol. We ask that you be the ones to protect yourself at home, and have all the self-care measures,” said the president.

López also informed that the same model of the restriction will be repeated from December 30 at 12:00 a.m. to January 3 at 11:59 p.m.
