According to the complaint, a 21-year-old nursing student was sexually abused in a medical facility attached to EPS Sanitas, located on Calle 13 with Carrera 65, in the middle of a medical appointment.
“He put her on the stretcher, undressed her normally and took her by force. The guy carnally agreed to her and at the end he told her: ‘ask for another date with me and don’t say anything’, then he left and left”, a relative of the victim told Noticias Caracol.
The event was presented last Monday, September 7, and from the moment the complaint was known, a prosecutor from the Bogotá Sexual Crimes Unit collected information and evidence that would account for what happened.
To that end, the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation presented the gynecologist, before a guarantee control judge in Bogotá, Ernesto Ortiz Ruiz, to answer for the accusations of the patient.
In concentrated hearings, the Prosecutor’s Office charged him with the crimes of violent carnal access in a heterogeneous contest with carnal access and abusive sexual act with aggravated incapacity to resist. The charges were not accepted by the defendant, however, the judge issued a security measure in a prison. The process continues.
