At this time, the authorities are conducting the inspection of two bodies found at the mouth of the Caimán channel in Olaya Herrera. It was known that it is a man and a woman, both aged 45 to 50 years.

These people were allegedly washed away by the waters of a rain gutter in the San Pedro neighborhood, near the Bomba del Amparo, last night, amid heavy rains.

In recordings published by social networks, it is seen when the man, on board a motorcycle, is dragged by the stream; however, there is no evidence for women.

Residents of the Ricaurte de Olaya Herrera sector say that, at around 6 in the morning, they noticed the presence of two people on the mud of the Ciénaga de la Virgen and immediately called the Police.

The victims were wearing clothing and masks. Beside him was a backpack with documents and pens. Due to their physical features, it is presumed that they are from the interior of the country.

The man’s body has gloves used by motorcycle taxi drivers. It is unknown if the victims knew each other or were transported on the same motorcycle. The Police try to find their identities.
