Boca triumph with Fabra, Villa, Jorman and Cardona as starters

Boca Juniors got their second victory in the Professional League Cup of Argentina. Miguel Ángel Russo’s team easily defeated Newell’s Old Boys at the Marcelo Bielsa stadium in Rosario. The 0-2 goals were scored by Carlos Tevez and Lisandro López.

The current Argentine champion had as headlines the 4 Colombians on the squad. Frank Fabra, Jorman Campuzano, Edwin Cardona and Sebastián Villa started in Rosario, having outstanding performances, especially the Antioquia winger in the second half. He generated 3 clear goal options, two were saved by goalkeeper Ramiro Macagno and the other was from medium distance that passed near the right post.

Tevez opened the scoring at 41 minutes after a good assist from Eduardo Salvio who left him hand in hand with the goalkeeper. The second and final was Lisandro López at 76 ‘heading a corner kick taken by Edwin Cardona to the first stick.
