América de Cali beat Junior 2-0 on Monday in the Women’s League and one of the goals was a jewel of art achieved by striker Gisela Robledo to give concrete figures to the scoreboard and give the scarlet team three points.

The youthful attacker scored in the 85th minute. A mid-distance shot that surprised the rival goalkeeper, the ball hitting the crossbar and then onto the floor, impossible to stop the ball from moving to the goal.

That bombshell was Robledo’s first celebration of the season and incidentally gives the reds partial lead in group B where they command the area with 9 points, the product of three victories. The other goal of the day was Carolina Pineda, also from the middle distance.

Now the Americans will get ready for the game against the same rival but as a visitor, at the start of the second round of the first phase of the League.
