Within the framework of date 13 of the Betplay League, America de Cali had numerous problems to build their squad of players against Boyacá Patriotas for the issue of goalkeepers, marginalized by calls for selections for Playoffs and injuries.
América de Cali lent Eder Chax for the Colombian National Team, Joel Graterol for Venezuela and its third goalkeeper Juan David Quintero was injured, so Jeison Pinillos had to save and to face Patriotas in the aforementioned game he did not have a fourth goalkeeper. The Scarlet Club petitioned Dimayor to sign up Juan Diego Jaramillo, but they denied it.

However, America went to the Players’ Status Commission and he was able to register Jaramillo to be a substitute in that game. The ‘scarlet’ won on the field, but the Patriotas board of directors stated that they were going to ask Dimayor for points, considering that registration as irregular and outside the regulation.
After several weeks, Dimayor officially ruled on this case in the sanctions bulletin this Wednesday and Dismissed Patriotas’ request to remove the points from América de Cali, including making it a final decision and filing the ongoing investigation.
