Since Colombian universities
They appear among the ten best in Latin America for the year 2021, according to the list of the British company specializing in education QS.
The University of Los Andes is the first Colombian, in sixth place, with 95 points. It is followed by the National University of Colombia, which is in tenth place, with 86.2 points.
Outside of the top ten appears the University of Antioquia, in 13. However, it gained a position with respect to the list of the best projected for 2020: it is rated with 80.83 points.
In 18 appears the Universidad Pontificia Javeriana, with 75.14, losing two places, as it appeared in 16.
The University of Rosario, with 61.94 points, is located in seat 40, that of La Sabana in 48, with 54.60, and that of Valle in 50, with 53.78.

QS took into account eight different indicators to develop the ranking of the best universities in Latin America.
Each represents a percentage of the global score for academic reputation, which was 30 percent of the score; employability of graduates, with 20 percent; citations per article, 10 percent; teacher-to-student ratio, 10 percent; staff with a doctorate, 10 percent; international research network, 10 percent; investigative production, 5 percent, and web presence, 5 percent.
