Barranquilla will have an 11-day curfew

Mayor Jaime Pumarejo announced this Monday the restrictive measures that will be in force in Barranquilla from March 25 to 29 and from March 31 to April 5 at night.

The president explained that the decision was made as a result of the rise in the numbers of people infected by covid and the occupation of beds in intensive care units (ICU), which is at 74%.

The seven measures taken by the District include restriction of circulation and prohibitions regarding the consumption of liquor, celebrations, meetings and religious acts that involve crowds.

In the case of the curfew, it was established from March 25 to 29 and from March 31 to April 5. The hours in which the measure will govern range from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am

During those days, and at the same times, the sale and consumption of alcoholic and intoxicating beverages is prohibited in the jurisdiction of the District of Barranquilla.
